Throbbing Streets (Autonome), 2010

Car, piezos, megaphone, loudspeaker, gas, leather pants, cowboy shoes, hat, wigs, other stuff and kidney beans, co-work with Julia Weißenberg and Alexander Pascal Forré

As part of the Ohrenschmaus Music Festival in Cologne, the work Throbbing Streets - Autonome was created. Sound dashes out of the car through the streets: the car sheet becomes a membrane, the car radio channels noise from the interior, piezos on the engine, parking brake, windshield wipers, and other car parts create sound and feedback - and an occasionally horse neighing: surrender in the (roundabout) traffic. Restricted nomadism.
